Invitation to Paradise
Picture Yourself Sitting there looking out the window of an airplane that is beginning to land... gliding over the Blue Pacific Ocean that surrounds the Islands of Hawaii.
You reflect on the beauty and majesty of God's creation, and realize His love for you. There is a sense of expectation in your heart... for even more of what the Lord has in store for you. This time set apart, to rest, to seek Him, to learn, and be loved, is something that you have needed for a long, long time.
There Has Been Much Preparation for your arrival. The staff has been interceding for you... asking God to open your heart to His voice. They have been seeking the Lord about how to minister to your specific needs and are looking forward to serving you with His love.
You Are Greeted at the airport by a beautiful couple, with a warm "Aloha"... and a lovely fragrant flowered lei is placed around your neck. And away you go... to an exciting adventure that will change your life... aboard the yacht "Shearwater"!
As you look out over the Royal Blue Pacific, the sun is setting between the Islands of Lanai and Molokai, and you see one of the most beautiful yachts you have ever seen.
She is sitting there, floating upon the water. Over her bow, the sun is setting... and as you approach the ship, right away you can understand why a Yacht is such an ideal place to receive ministry. It is large enough to be comfortable, yet provides the seclusion needed... a peaceful place to be alone... with the Lord.
Come aboard...
As You Come Aboard... the crew of men and women begin to wait on you... and this makes you feel like Royalty ( "A Child of the King"). Everything is so peaceful. Everyone's eyes are sparkling... and love seems to penetrate everything that moves. Even the movement of the ship is gentle... as the sky begins to turn a beautiful, fuchsia-like, purple.
Settled in your stateroom, you sense the presence of the Lord... and you know the Lord has brought you here... and that He has good things in store for you!
The Islands of Hawaii~ The Hawaiian Islands provide a peaceful tranquility that is ideal for allowing people, both kids... and adults, to receive ministry.
In Our Travels over the last few years, we have talked to a great number of people who express the need to get away... for a concentrated time with the Lord. A time set apart where they can leave their familiar environment... and be removed from the influences... responsibilities... and the distractions... of everyday life.
