The "Astor" was just one facet of a potentially powerful, constructive plan to reach the youth with a positive alternative to loneliness, hurts, drugs and alcohol, rebellion, hate and other destructive elements that are killing our kids.

In order to offer this service free to those who really needed it, we used the yacht for approximately one-third of the year to generate funds for its own support... and our other programs.

The remaining two-thirds of the year, the yacht was being made available to the youth, individuals, groups... and to churches for seminars on:

• Prayer
• How to handle conflicts that youth go through
• How to deal with hurt and bitterness
• Additional Subjects

The boat was also used for:

• Encounters and support groups
• Fellowship time with the Lord
• A place of worship and prayer

and whatever other ways we could reach out and serve their needs (see testimonies).
