Since 1980, our vision to reach young people has been primarily situated in the Hawaiian Islands. Island Impact ~ Hawaii! (Send a Child to Hawaii) has been our focus. We used the classic sailing yacht, "Astor", an elegant Fife Schooner. She was built in 1924 for Sir Thomas Lipton, of Lipton Tea, who was a racing enthusiast. She was an excellent tool to minister within Hawaii. As you can see from some of the testimonies and letters of endorsement, it has been a tremendous success.

The Vision ... We are now planning to expand to the East Coast / Bahamas and Caribbean area. We have been looking extensively for a suitable boat to use. The ideal one would be an exceptionally seaworthy, beautifully maintained, classic schooner.

The Business ... A yacht such as this would not only perfect for our endeavors, but could be used as an successful charter business to a selected few. It would be a wonderful way to support the yearly maintenance of the boat.

The Experience ... Although a project of this level maybe difficult for some, we have the experience, knowledge and dedication needed to keep the yacht to the excellent standard required.
