The Place ... There is something about a fresh ocean breeze that refreshes the spirit. The warmth of the tropical sun is healing in itself. The blue waters are ideal for a variety of exciting sports... snorkeling, scuba, parasailing, kyaking. At times we will be under sail ourselves, feeling the salt spray on our faces as we slice through the waves. Anchored at a secluded bay enjoying delicious local foods and fruits is a way to fellowship and rest. Sometimes we may be relaxing under the awnings building relationships without the stress of life crowding in. It's an opportune time to be alone with your family, your spouse or yourself and God. These will be time for teaching, time for prayer, time for counseling.
Time on "The Yacht" ... whether it be in Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean, or over in the Mediterranean area there is an excellent opportunity to grow in Team Building communication skills... between leadership and staff, parents and children, kids with kids. It will be a valuable time that will have a far reaching effect on many who may never set foot aboard "The Yacht" but will benefit from those who have. All who are involved, whether they embark on the voyage or enable someone else to, become a "Support Crew" member... part of the team of caring people who want to offer hope to the young people of America!
